The 2011-12 academic year has seen the start of the Master´s Degree in Social, Emotional and Creative Education on the University of Cantabria´s Campus of International Excellence, through and agreement between the Botín Foundation and the Faculty of Education. Next year a new edition will start.

This exclusive international course from the University of Cantabria also offers the possibility of obtaining a joint Degree and Masters title.

This Master´s Degree aims to promote personal and social well-being and development in shools, one of current society´s most important needs.

It includes the collaboration of renowned national and international professionals and researchers in this field of study.

MANAGEMENT

OBJECTIVES

After completing the Master´s, students will be able to:

• Use their social, emotional and creative skills to achieve greater personal and social well-being.

• Improve the efficiency of teaching-learning processes by using these skills.

• Master different psycho-educational tools based on knowledge of innovative global programmes.

• Include in their work the promotion of well-being and social, emotional and creative skills during childhood and adolescence.

• Create, through discussion and reflection, the right educational conditions so that his occurs effectively.
