Botín Centre

The Botín Centre is seeking to appoint an internationally recognised contemporary art curator as its first Artistic Director.

Specifically, on assembly of the side truss for the exterior facade of the West building. It is expected to be hoisted onto its pillars at the beginning of June.

She is currently the director of Education, Projects and Social Action at the Foundation.

The Botín Centre in Santander will host this pioneer program with the ultimate goal of building a more creative community and society.

1320 cubic metres of concrete will be poured, thereby providing the platform where assembly of the metal structure will start, planned for the end of March or beginning of April 2013.

2,200 m3 of concrete will be poured, which involves the operation of three concrete manufacturing plants at full capacity and approximately 30 concrete mixer trucks.

The first two pillars of the structure of the Botín Centre’s west building were put in place in early December.
